Log Templates and Correlation Panels

A log template controls how a sedimentary log is drawn in the 2D log window: which tracks appear, in what order and at what widths. The Log Templates branch lists the project's templates. The 2D Log ribbon tab's template dropdown picks the active one and can create a new one; New on the branch header does the same, and Import loads a .ptm template file. Select a template to edit its tracks in the Properties panel. See Log templates in the logging guide.

The Correlation Panels branch is reserved for saved correlation panel layouts. It is not populated in the current release: correlation panels are opened from the 2D Log tab and are not listed in the tree.

Context menus

Both branch headers show the standard group menu, and each template shows the standard item menu. Both menus are listed on the Standard Item and Group Menus page.
