Edit Ribbon Tab

Commands available on the Edit ribbon tab, grouped by panel.

Editing​

Viewpoint URI​

Tooltip: Copy current viewpoint

Copy the current camera viewpoint to the clipboard in various formats.

Dropdown items:

  • Copy as HTML — Copy viewpoint as HTML

Rectangle Select​

Tooltip: Rectangle selection

Drag a rectangle in the 3D view to select everything inside it.

Circle Select​

Tooltip: Circle selection

Drag a circle in the 3D view to select everything inside it.

Polygon Select​

Tooltip: Select Inside Polygon

Select Inside a Polygon

De-select​

Tooltip: De-select mode

When enabled, the next selection action removes objects from the current selection.

Additive​

Tooltip: Additive selection mode

When enabled, the next selection action adds to the current selection rather than replacing it.

Transform​

Tooltip: Create a transform between points

Define 3 or more tiepoints and targets to create a transform

Region Of Interest​

Tooltip: Create a region of interest

Define a region of interest (ROI) to limit subsequent operations to a sub-volume of the scene.

Build Surface​

Tooltip: Build a surface from selection

Build a triangulated surface from the currently selected points or vertices.

Select Triangles​

Tooltip: Select Triangles in Mesh

Hold control to select multiple triangles.

Select Vertices​

Tooltip: Select mesh vertices

Paint over the mesh to select individual vertices using the brush width.

Brush Width​

Tooltip: Vertex selection brush width

Brush radius used by the Select Vertices paint tool.

Touch Mode​

Make icons bigger for touch screens

Dark Mode​

Switch application to Dark Mode

Export Model​

Tooltip: Export the 3D model

Export the 3D model to a common interchange format.

Export USD​

Tooltip: Export to USD

Export the 3D scene to the Universal Scene Description (USD) format.

Sketchfab Upload​

Tooltip: Sketchfab integration

Upload scenes to Sketchfab and manage your Sketchfab account.

Dropdown items:

  • Upload Scene — Upload the current scene to Sketchfab
