Plane Attitudes

Right-click commands for Plane Attitudes in the Interpretation Tree.

This branch is called Orientation

"Plane Attitudes" is the older name. The branch is labelled Orientation in the Interpretation tree, and its items and its group share one menu with Structural Measurements — which documents the same menu in full, including the per-item commands.

Group Context Menu​

Right-click the Plane Attitudes parent group / list header in the Interpretation Tree.

Actions​

  • Group — Group the selected items into a single project tree entry. (ID_PROJEXP_GROUP)
  • Ungroup — Ungroup the selected group, restoring its contents to the parent. (ID_PROJEXP_UNGROUP)
  • Spreadsheet — Spreadsheet View (ID_DEFAULTGROUP_SPREADSHEET)
  • Import — From File (ID_GROUPPOPUP_IMPORT)
  • Export — Export (ID_GROUPPOPUP_EXPORT)
  • Create DFN from Selected Groups — Build a new DFN from the selected orientation groups: fits Fisher mean/K per group and a power-law/lognormal/exponential length distribution, then generates fractures over the project map limits (ID_DFN_CREATEFROMORIENTATIONS)
  • Auto-cluster Selected Orientations... — Auto-cluster Selected Orientations (ID_ORIENT_AUTOCLUSTER)
  • Set Focus — Set focus (ID_PLANEATTITUDEGROUP_SETFOCUS)
  • Classification — Re-type the selected measurements as Bed, Fracture, Cleavage, Foreset or Regional.
  • Calculate Intersection — Calculate the line of intersection between two planes (ID_BEDATTITUDE_INTERSECTION)
  • Combine — Combine the selected measurements (ID_BEDATTITUDE_COMBINE)
  • Convert to Fault — Convert the selected measurement to a fault (ID_BEDATTITUDE_CONVERTTOFAULT)

Sort submenu​

  • Name — Name (ID_SORT_NAME)
  • Vertex Count — Vertex Count (ID_SORT_VERTEXCOUNT)
